John Henry “Doc” Sawyer is a travel photographer who prefers solitude over crowds, yet his job keeps him surrounded by people. And while he loves the job and where it takes him, it would be nice to experience it all in peace and quiet…or with someone special one day.
Kenzie Macky moved away from her best friend when she was seven years old. Since graduating from high school, she has been attempting to track him down. But while visiting Paris on a mini-vacation before heading to Tokyo, she finally decides to stop looking for her long-lost friend, focus on her family’s business, and settle down with the man her father wants her to marry.
On a flight from Paris to Tokyo, Doc is seated next to a woman who, for the first time in quite a while, he finds intriguing enough to want to spend more time with. And he can’t deny how much he’s drawn to her.
Will their long-ago friendship be rekindled, or will it blossom into something more?
